Live Update is a FREE and simple user-friendly tool to keeps you always connected to Gemalto product releases, news, as well as new products introduction. You will get alerted when there is an updates and upgrade your Gemalto Tools (Card Admin, Developer Suite, Simulation Suite, Universal Tracer, etc) anytime. Gemalto products managed in Live Update are:
Card Admin, Developer Suite, Simulation Suite, Universal Tracer, SPML Editor, Service Designer Suite (SDS & SDK)

Live Update is available on Developer Network, in the Download section.

No, due to export control of few products managed by Live Update, Live Update can not be exported to the following countries: Cuba - Iran - Iraq - North Korea – Sudan. Due to US technology contained, Strong Authentication products are subject to US export controls and thus Developer Suite (as well as Card Admin and Simulation Suite) cannot be exported to the following countries : Cuba - Iran - Iraq - North Korea – Sudan.
Due to specific cryptographic functionalities contained in our products and that Gemalto complies with every international, regional, and local regulation relative to trade controls in any country, it is your responsibility to make sure you comply with the regulations of your country if you import/export our products.

Installation of Live Update is easy, just execute the Live Update setup executable and follow the installation steps.

Live Update version upgrade is done automatically when you are connected to internet. The upgrade is managed by Gemalto Live Update server.
