Universal Tracer provides convenient and simple way to trace the communications between two entities, be it handset and card or communication in card reader. Universal Tracer enables interpretation of the traces captured by through interpretation modules. The communication translation can be customized depending on user’s preferences, by configuring the interpretation modules selection and arrangement. APIs for interpretation modules are made public, these enable users to create interpretation modules themselves and share among each other.

You need uninstall the Views Detective before running the Universal Tracer set up.
Tacer session must be started before the handset being powered on to allow the MSC to record the PPS speed.
- Follow the following step to troubleshoot:
1. Close the current tracing session, power off the handset.
2. Reset the MSC by pressing the red button on the hardware.
3. In Universal Tracer, start a new tracing session.
4. Power on the handset.
