2 use cases are presented here among all existing in MaXSSIMM program:

Use case #1: Mobile travel assistant

This use-case demonstrates three essential benefits of the MaxSSIMM infrastructure:

• an automatic push of trip information to the smart card of the user
• the data will be stored securely on the card. The user will be able to retrieve these information even when no network connectivity exists or in roaming situations
• accesssing large amounts of data (audio, video) from the smart card saves network bandwidth and is faster in situations with bad connection quality
• by plugging the smart card into another phone, the contained data can be easily taken over
• the application could be automatically installed from the MaXSSIMM card
