OMA SCWS Tutorial
Overview
SCWS (Smart Card Web Server) is a HTTP server implemented in UICC. It allows:
- Local communication between a Web Brower running in the terminal and Web Server running in UICC.
- Remote administration of the SCWS by authorized entities
Applications in the card registered to SCWS are identified by URL. You may browse the static HTML pages stored in the UICC through Static Content Explorer feature provided in Developer Suite. The content exchange between SCWS and service provider is done via the HTTP protocol defined in OMA specifications. You may now simulate remote administration thanks to OMA SCWS Server Simulator feature in Developer Suite.
