Hello,
I have an ENS22-E module and tried to follow some guides to connect the device to the network, but it doesn't work. Maybe I'm missing something. Does anyone know what could be wrong?
I have tried the following commands:
ate0
at+cmee=2
AT^SCFG="Radio/Band/4G","0x00080000"
at+cereg=2
at+cfun=1
at+cgdcont=0,"IP","nb.inetd.gdsp" // Vodafone apn
AT+COPS=1,2,"21401"
at+cereg? // status does not change from 2

Hello,
How about if you enable all bands, clear CGDCONT and try in automatic ****?
Please also check AT+COPS=? to scan the available networks.
BR,
Bartłomiej
Thanks for your repply.
I tried the following:
Does it match what you where saying?
I will double check the SIM cards with the provider just in case as it fells like a weird behavior.
Thanks for your help!
Hello,
The module sees 3 networks, but shows the status "unknown" for each of them which is unusual for me. Unfortunately I have no experience with this particular module. Please try some other SIM if possible and test this SIM with some other device.

Bartłomiej
Hi Sir,
Could you plz tell me the difference between BGS2-E and BGS2-E8?
Thanks a lot!
BR,
Victoria
Hi VICTORIA525,
E8 is probably some special variant for China.

Bartłomiej
Hi Bartłomiej,
Thanks for your reply.
E8 can be used in Russian speaking countries. I didn't find any English datasheet of E8; instead, there're a few Russian tech docs. Could you plz let me know the major difference between BGS2-E and BGS2-E8? Thanks very much!
BR,
Victoria
Hello,
A little correction - there was a special variant named E8 some time ago (not only for China as I wrote before - I'm sorry for unverified information), but it's already no longer produced.
As for any more details or documents I'm not able to help you. Please try to contact your local sales.
BR,
Bartłomiej
