Hi,
I'm currently habing problems communicating with a pair of PH8 modems, the issue here is that I have 200 like those working but with a differnet firmware, so is it possible to downgrade a firmware with Revision 03.001 A-Revision 01.001.07 to Revision 02.003 A-Revision 01.001.00? if so, where can I download it.
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
it's not recomended. Rel 3 has to versions and rel 3.3 firmware is already available
to obtain the windows or Linux files, you need to contact the local Gemalto M2M office in your region and/or the distribution partnert wich you adquired the modules

Hello,
Could you write a little more what exactly is the problem that you have? Why do you think that it is a firmware problem?
It is possible to upgrade PH8 revision 2 to revision 3. So it could also be possible to downgrade from revision 3 to revision 2. But as downgrade is rather not the default way of firmware change there could be some side effects especially if the hardware platform is not exactly the same. You'd need to test it on one module. The best way would be to contact your local supplier to get the firmware as Antonio suggested. And rather try the update.
