The last few years each time I went to an M2M exhibition I heard some companies talking about the need of a M2M open source protocol.
Does Gemalto intend to provide its programmers community with a Java library that complies with such standards?
For instance:

http://www.eclipse.org/paho/
etc.

Hi,
I would like to inform you, that Gemalto offers SensorLogic platform. It is cloud-based M2M system that provides a comprehensive set of services to rapidly build and deploy customer's applications. Gemalto provides Java libraries for WTK to support SensorLogic platform on wireless modules.
The system works over IP using internal protocol for communication. By now there are no published information if other protocols are going to be introduced.

Hello,
the paho javalib has a JavaME version, which could be used for implementing M2M connection (for example to mosquitto server).
