Hi everyone,

I'm trying to register to an LTE network, using AT+COPS command with PLS8 module. I'm successful if I have previously enabled PS attach (AT+CGATT=1) or if "GPRS/AutoAttach" is enabled, but I'm unable to register otherwise, ME stays unregistered or even registered using different RAT.

Isn't it possible to (just) register to an LTE network if attach not enabled? I mean, is it possible to split registration and attachment processes into two stages?

Hi,

4G is a packet data network(PS domain), even for Voice call (VoLTE)

Attach to packet data is needed to book the module in the network.
