I upgraded a module form ARN 14 to ARN 51. In the latter the module does not receive specific characters like '@'.
I switched the character set with AT+CSCS between GSM and UCS2 but without result.
Am I missing a setting somewhere?
Could you please paste an example log?
What do mean by example log?
I receive the SMS message with the AT listener. Instead of an '@' I receive: '/00' or '?00' depending on the CSCS setting or if I use GSM2Java.
I meant the application log where I could see what exactly you do, what commands and you send and what the result is.
Thank you for this short explanation. I was able to test this scenario with SMS.
When you leave the default CSCS setting (GSM) and use this method GSM2Java(String gsmStr, boolean handleEscaping) with parameter 'true' you should get '@' character converted.
This works, thanx.
