Hi there, 

I'm trying to 

I'm trying to communicate the BGS5T to an external device with the COM0 port set to 1200bps. But I receive an error opening the port.

Hi,

Please try another baudrate.

The terminal you are using has a hardware watchdog which can be configured via the TXD0 line of the serial

interface ASC0. 

The baudrate 1200bps is reserved for that and should not be configured for the module‘s serial interface ASC0.
