Is there a way to trigger a hard reset via Java or AT commands? I am experiencing an issue where the Module (els 61) randomly does not attach to the mobile Networks after a restart (via at+cfun=1,1) or Networks outage. The only Thing that helps is cutting the power. Is there a function that is triggerable via Software and equivalent to cutting the Power?
Thanks in advance
So it may be really hard to debug if it happens so rarely. My point about the hardware was that even if we imagine that there is some software problem in the module
the reboot should cause the system to start again and the problem should be solved. That's why I thought that your hardware might cause problems like giving not enough power or something else.
You're right about CEER - you should add it to the application together with AT+CMEE=2 and some network diagnostic commands like AT^SMONI, AT+CREG?, AT+COPS=? etc.
Really excessive logging for a long time may influence the flash health but for this case it might be helpful and you should at least log some diagnostics in case of the problem.
The firmware version is not the latest - you could try the newer version but it may not change anything.
Is it 4G or 2G network involved, are both available, automatic registration or manual, roaming? Maybe the log would help to get more information.
