I'm looking for healthcare sensors (blood pressure, heart rate, ...) to use for developing that are compatible with the Concept Board?
are you looking for some specific kind of sensor? If so, you could basically search for the sensor supporting following interfaces:
- 0-5V analog signal (multiplexed up to 4 channels).
communicates via analog signal, If not, take a look at this shield once again:http://www.cooking-hacks.com/documentation/tutorials/ehealth-biometric-s...
Gemalto doesn't officially support this shield, but it seems to be partially compliant. According to the documentation pulse oximeter seems to use GPIO pins as input that in Concept Board may be used only as output. Besides it is designed to use external interrupts which is not supported in Concept Board.
Remember that EHS6 offers only one ADC which may be multiplexed to four channels, this causes speed limitation. Here is the list of the components that probably should work (analog with significant speed limitation):
ECG/EMG - analog signal
GSR - analog signal
Airflow sensor - analog signal
Temperature sensor - analog signal
Glucometer - serial connection
Blood pressure - serial connection
This one probably will not work:
Pulse oximeter - seems to communicate via sort of parallel connection basing on GPIO
Ok thanks Jedrzej.
