Hello all,
I am now trying to use secure connection from TC65i module to a server.
During development, I would like to use a self-signed certification. But I noticed that the J2ME checks the validation and throws certification exception by invalid.
How can I walk through this during the development?
Also the second question: how can I set the keystore/password by using J2ME SecureConnection API?

Hello,
Please refer to the Java User's Guide document (chapter 11. Java Security).
You have probably been there if you are playing with certificates. But maybe you have missed some facts.
You will find the detailed description how to create the secure data transfer environment.
You can create your own CA and generate CA Root Certificate.
If there's no certificate loaded to the module the authenticity of the server certificate is not verified.
If you have loaded the certificate to the module you can always switch off and on the certificate verification for https connections (chapter 11.5.3 Create Java Security Commands).
You can not set the keystore/password by using J2ME SecureConnection API. Chapter 11.5.3 describes how to load certificate and modify security options. There can be only one certificate loaded to the module.
