PLS8-X in Canada : network attach issue. | Thales IoT Developer Community

Hello,

We're testing PLS8-X modules in Belgium : so a first attach to a network is done with Belgium providers.

Then we send the modules in North America.

The problem occurs there : the first attach to a Canada network (checked via CGREG command every 5 seconds), is impossible unless we do send to the module : AT+COPS=2, wait CGREG has issue a zero value, and then send AT+COPS=0.

My questions are :
Why this particular behaviour ?
Is the sequence +COPS=2 and then +COPS=0 necessary ? And when (for which cases) ?
