Reset/Restart LTE Modem Card mPLS62-W | Thales IoT Developer Community

Hello,
we're using the following device mPLS62-W, info provided by ATI command
Cinterion
PLS62-W
REVISION 02.000
Now, we would like to perform a reset of the modem by using the PERST# line, as described in the document "mPLS62-W_hid_v02.001a.pdf". Unfortunately, putting the PERST# line to low signal for >20ms don't trigger any reset of the modem. At least, the linux driver is not reloaded and the modem interface is present all the time in linux.
Am I right that the restart should be performed in the same way like with the commadn "AT^SMSO" ?
Are there any knonw issues regarding PERST# line ?
Does the modem need to be configured in a particular way for the PERST# line to work ?
Any ideas how to proceed in this situation are appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Greetings
Hello,
Is the module still accessible via USB?
Please connect to USB with some terminal and observe if there are any URCs and check if the module replies to AT commands after that.

Hello,
thanks for the effort. It turned out we been using the #W_DISABLE and #PERST in a wrong manner.
Now the modem behaves as expected.

I also ran into this difficulty and found a workaround. The manual is far from clear (I suspect it means to say "The PERST# signal is internally connected to the EMERG_OFF signal of the LTE Modem Card mPLS62- W", and I would love to know how the W_DISABLE# signal is connected). So for posterity, here's what worked for me:
Some other permutations of that procedure also worked, but from what I can discern, that's probably the most reliable method.
