Hi ,

We are using Bgs2-E and EHS5 module with dual sim.When switching from one sim to another sim we are not getting proper response from the module but as soon as we send a sms after switching the module we are able to communicate properly.

The Sim switch we are following the sim switch design document provided by gemalto.What could be the issue and how to solve this problem.

Hello,

These modules do not have dual SIM interface so you probably are using 2 SIM interfaces connected to the same lines and doing an external switching. So in fact this should work the same as switching the cards in the single interface. 

What do you mean by not the proper response from the module? Are you using the CCIN line - it should be toggled after the switch to let the module know that the new SIM has been "inserted". Are you using the DSB Mini or some other HW?
